To Where It Ended Nature asked me to make amends With something I could not comprehendTo Where It Ended
And walk away from where Ive strayed To where the path had a beginning and an end
The path was long and dreary
And I bent enough with both my knees Bent for the path that would never bend for me

StretchingFaint cloudsStretching
Outlined in the sky
I'm perilously close to touching
But inches away I shy
From the sky so high above
From clouds like the feathers of a dove
From the tips of the tallest trees
The trees scuffed my knees I stretch my finger tips
Glance at a sky full of cloud ships
Stretch closer and try not to shy
As my fingers gently brush the sky.

People say to spend our days spreading love
And yet all we seem to be able to spread is war...
